Concept
Convey a city of biodiversity and culture. I want to convey a friendly, happy, tropical, biodiverse city highlighting lifestyle. I want to use elements to represent the tropical rainforest and the beaches found in the city.
Solution
I achieved my goal by creating a wordmark and a lettermark to represent the tropical rainforest and the beaches that are a part of the city. I achieved this by using a toucan to represent the rainforest and I used the design of the font Fertigo Pro to represent the beaches. I combined the toucan and the letter Q to create the lettermark. Finally, I chose colors that are found in the city’s nature. Once I formed the style guidelines I used the same elements throughout the brand to create a consistent strong brand.
